About This Site

This site is offered as a public service to survivors of suicide around the world, with the hope it will provide support and comfort in the aftermath of grief.

The site was created and published by Ronnie Walker, a suicide survivor and clinical mental health counselor, with the generous assistance and support of many other survivors and experts in the field.

This site was created to enhance and reinforce the many excellent programs and organizations that serve the survivor community.  It was designed to provide an informative, user-friendly and healing place on the web for survivors.  We see grief as a journey, and believe in the possibility that, although they are forever changed, all survivors can eventually move beyond "just surviving" to once again experience happiness and meaning in their lives.

In addition to the information and free message board on this site, we also offer specialized counseling. For more support, check out: SurvivorCounselor.com

People who lose a loved one to suicide are forever changed by the tragic and traumatic loss ... but they endure and survive and as time goes on, even go beyond surviving to have joyful and fulfilling lives.
