About the Photos

The photos on this site were taken by photographers who posted their work in the Creative Commons section of Flickr.  We are very grateful to all of them for permitting use of their work. Thanks are also in order for the kind words of support that so many photographers sent to the survivor community.  Five of the photographers wrote that they too were touched by suicide.  One lost a husband; one lost a classmate; one lost two friends; one lost two cousins and an uncle; and one has attempted suicide.
